Police confirm that he is wanted.

A news video shows a man wearing a clown mask walking onto the courtroom steps where the porn star, Stormy Daniels, was expected to testify against her alleged paramour R. Kelly.

A jury started deliberations in Kelly’s child pornography trial at about 1:50 p.m. ET.

Reports of the man strolling into the courthouse were initially reported by TMZ, which identified him as a Chicago resident who frequents the area.

A judge warned the man not to approach the defendants and not to make any other threats against Kelly.

“This courtroom is about the legal proceedings and not a circus,” Judge John Fitzgerald Lyke Jr. said.

The man was immediately whisked away from the courthouse.

The revelations about the clown mask came less than a day after Kelly and his lawyer accused Cook County sheriff’s deputies of breaking up Kelly’s marriage to a teenage girl who was under 18 years old. The Chicago Sun-Times reported the relationship started at age 15 and the wedding took place in 1994.

The sheriff’s department said it was concerned about the “potential physical and emotional safety” of Kelly’s then 16-year-old bride and responded to a call at their Chicago residence.

During a news conference Saturday morning, Kelly’s lawyer said Kelly’s marriage “was illegal.”

“The statute of limitations on what happened between (Kelly and the girl) had run out,” Steven Greenberg said. “There was no wedding license … all the documents to say he was married had all been destroyed.”

Greenberg denied that the marriage occurred.

In March 2018, the Sun-Times published reams of documents related to the 1994 marriage. The newly unsealed court papers said the original marriage license from August 1994 — which would have covered Kelly’s marriage to Daniels — was destroyed in 2013.

Greenberg told CNN on Saturday there were papers he found that appeared to be the marriage license, which he showed to reporters.

Daniels has said she had sex with Kelly when she was 17 and he was 26. Kelly has denied having any sexual relations with her.

On Monday, Kelly was arrested at his Chicago studio after the sheriff’s department received a court order, obtained through the Cook County clerk of courts, to search the premises.

As part of the search, authorities found a “removal box” filled with “personal papers and items” related to Cohen, said Steve Patterson, an inspector with the sheriff’s office.

Last week, Cohen is set to be interviewed by the FBI as part of a criminal investigation of his business dealings and activities.

The sheriff’s department also issued a warrant for Kelly to appear in court to face a violation of probation charge related to his release in a child pornography case from 2008.

In that case, a Cook County judge found probable cause to believe that he possessed child pornography. But the case was dismissed by an appeals court after prosecutors failed to offer Kelly a plea deal. Kelly spent months in jail before being released.

Kelly has had several run-ins with the law.

In 1998, he was charged with 14 counts of child pornography. The trial ended with Kelly being acquitted after being accused of secretly filming himself having sex with a teenage girl.

In 2002, he was indicted on 16 counts of child pornography after a video showed him engaged in sexual acts with a girl who was believed to be 13.

Kelly denied having sex with the girl and the case ended in a mistrial.

In 2013, Kelly was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse for allegedly having sex with two underage girls. Those charges resulted in a not guilty verdict.

In January, Kelly was sued by a former producer who claimed Kelly made racially tinged death threats against him after he stopped helping Kelly make a music video.

A week later, an Atlanta woman said she was raped and sexually abused by Kelly.

Two weeks ago, Kelly was arrested and charged with misdemeanor aggravated criminal trespass to a building after police responded to a call in relation to a 2017 nightclub incident. Kelly did not enter a plea.
